Pilot Lite VMS is a complete management software system for video, audio, data, environmental sensors and network switches. Pilot software provides a wide range of product integration supporting over 600 IP devices from over 40 manufacturers.

As part of afi's “Open Path” commitment to system integration, Pilot software operates with major manufacturers of IP Cameras and Video Streamers. “Open Path” assures you that Pilot systems will continue to integrate with today’s and tomorrow’s video hardware components. When combined with video codecs, Pilot software can easily integrate with existing legacy analog systems and new IP security products to form a complete hybrid solution. In addition to video, Pilot software reads alarms and status of afi's Commander switch and Scout environmental products to form a complete network monitoring command center.

Pilot's unique methods for handling data and video assures fast response search times and the ability to interact with data platforms from a majority of access control and other data generating sources. Pilot offers several video and interface options operating on industry available server and storage solutions. Video sources can be MJPEG, MPEG-4, H.263 and H.264. Video, data and audio are recorded in a secure format for limited access can be converted into many standard formats. Pilot software provides complete management for multiple Scout environmental sensing and Commander network switches.

Dynamic Stream Configuration (DSC) offers the ability to change frame rate on the fly or at preprogrammed times or conditions to respond to specific network and/or recording conditions. Dynamic Camera Configuration can be programmed for up to three different time lapse recording settings, manual recording, live view and event/alarm recording. Date Integration with data parsing for interface to compatible ATMs, Point of Sales systems and Cash Registers. Report Generator: auto multiple page configuration and .PDF generator.

Cascade operation for building multiple server solutions to meet requirements for up to 48 cameras, 16 per server using up to 3 servers. For larger systems up to 1,000's of cameras, see Pilot Enterprise.

Pilot Lite is licensed per channel for up to 16 devices. Its cascade ability allows it be combined withup to two other servers to handle up to 48 channels. Pilot enterprise is designed for larger systems without a 16 channel limit. Both Pilot Enterprise and Pilot Lite are designed to operate without the need of client software. This eliminates the requirement to load software on a client. All features can be accessed over the network using secure permission levels.
